Darling Downs race-car driver Will Power has won the Indianapolis 500 – the pinnacle of his career.
The 37 year-old has a number of highlights in his career, including the world championship, but the Indy 500 race had eluded him…until today.
Power thanked his parents for supporting his dream, after the former Toowoomba boy took the biggest prize in American open-wheel racing.
