Two women’s Western Pride soccer players have praised Female football week, which begins with N.P.L competitions this weekend.
Kirsten Veeren and Melissah Von Bischoffshausen both support the initiative, which promotes the roles girls and women play in football across the country.
Ms.Veeren told the Q.T…it’s also a chance for women to share in the spotlight, in a sport typically dominated by men.
