The Brisbane Bandits weathered the ejections of head coach David Nilsson, his assistant Adrian Lamb and a tense two-hour rain delay, before snatching a hat-trick of Australian Baseball League titles.
A second-inning triple home run by catcher Adam Weisenburger and a sixth-inning solo homer from Mitch Nilsson proved enough with the bat, to grab a 4 – 2 win over Canberra.
