Canberra calls in their Cavalry, to get one over The Bandits.

The Brisbane Bandits opened round nine at One Hub Stadium last night, hosting The Canberra Cavalry.

Both teams entered with identical records, tied for second in the North-East division.

The Cavalry were able to strike first, claiming an 11-6 victory in game one.

The two teams battle again tonight at 6, as The Bandits look to even up the series.
