Big names for the Broncos, not so for Penrith at the Auckland Nines.

Benji Marshall will play his first game for the Broncos at this weekend’s Auckland Nines, in a Brisbane line-up that will feature a host of stars.

 

The club is taking the pre-season event seriously, naming the likes Darius Boyd, Anthony Milford and James Roberts in their squad.

 

In contrast, Penrith is resting the majority of its top lines stars.

 

Chief Executive Brian Fletcher..says its pointless risking $8 million of playing talent, on a pre-season exhibition event.
