Belmont ‘blazes’ Toowoomba’s Bushrangers at the P.L.Q bowls.

The North Toowoomba Bushrangers are still searching for their maiden victory in P.L.Q bowls, despite a bold showing against a very committed young Belmont Blaze team over the weekend.

The Bushrangers were confident of rattling the Blaze early, however it was exactly the opposite, with the Belmont young guns quick to seize upon every opportunity and break away to set up a comfortable lead.

While the 67 to 43 loss was disappointing for the Bushrangers, the squad are by no means ‘down and out’….they now have time to lick their wounds, as there will be no P.L.Q fixtures over the coming Australia Day weekend.
