The Toowoomba Mountaineers basketball team say they’ve had to reopen their search for a new coach.
The Women’s side in the Queensland Basketball League had been set to be coached by Dual Basketball Olympian Donna Quinn, but she had to withdraw over the New Year, and discussions have now terminated.
Mountaineers Chairman John Gouldson…says the decision was made ‘amicably’, after Quinn withdrew her interest due to personal reasons.
He says there are close to 30 players for Queensland and Southern Basketball League teams, and the Women’s squad training times & venues will be announced this week.
