
Ash Barty’s French Open preparations have hit a stumbling block, with the World No.8 pulling out of a lead-up tournament, due to a recurring arm injury.
The Ipswich product withdrew from her first-round match against compatriot Daria Gavrilova, at the Strasbourg International yesterday.
Her right arm injury appears to have been one she’s battled with from time-to-time, after Ash told the Courier Mail…she’s had it on-and-off since she was 16 years-old.
