Aussie winners & losers at the Brisbane Tennis International.

Bernard Tomic will be out to extend his winning run tonight as the sole Australian left at the Brisbane International.

The7th seed takes on Czech veteran Radek Stepanek in the second round.

Last night, Tomic started his summer with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Nicolas Mahut.

Meantime, Samantha Stosur has made another early exit at the tournament, falling against World number 13..Carla Suarez Navarro in 3 sets.

It’s the 6th time Stosur has failed to make it past the 2nd round.
