Aussie cricketers go one-up in the ODI

Australia has taken a 1 – nil lead in the five game One Day cricket series against Pakistan.

The hosts elected to bat, but got off to a shaky start with DAVID WARNER making just 7 before captain STEVE SMITH was dismissed for a golden duck.

Keeper-batsman MATTHEW WADE steadied the ship though, notching his maiden O-D-I century.

Our bowlers then finished the job, sealing a 92 win at the Gabba.
