The Ipswich Jets have notched up their second win of the Queensland Cup season, after surviving a late fightback against Souths Logan.
The Jets came under constant attack in the second half on their own try line, to hold on for a 28 points to 20 win.
Making his 50th appearance for the club, Marmin Barba put down a hat trick in the first 15 minutes, in wet conditions at Davies Park.
Meantime, the region’s rugby league development will soon be piloted by one of our own.
Jets development manager, Brendon Lindsay has landed the role of Q.R.L manager for Ipswich.
Lindsay told The Q.T – he’s looking forward to jumping in and getting started.
