Local Olympic hopeful Matt Denny will be looking to qualify for his second games, at the Queensland Track Classic in two weeks.
He’s also taken to Facebook, encouraging those from his hometown of Allora and surrounding areas, to head to the Brisbane sporting carnival.
The event will be held at the Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre at Mount Gravatt on March 20th.
