A shaky start then a bounce-back for Ms.Barty at the U.S Open.

After a shocker first set, Ipswich’s Ash Barty has recovered to win her first round at the U.S Tennis Open.

While down in the first set…6-1, Ms.Barty was able to claw her way to claim the second set – 6-3…and then the third.

Unfortunately, Sam Stosur & Prescilla Hon were both defeated in straight sets.
