A lifeline for The Bushrangers prompts the call for more players.

After a gut wrenching defeat in the recent elimination finals for a place in next year’s South East Queensland Bowls Premier League, the North Toowoomba Bushrangers have received a reprieve and a late invitation to submit a registration, following the shock withdrawal of longtime competitors, Booval Swifts Ipswich.

A meeting of the North Toowoomba Bowls Club Board unanimously backed the submission, with the race now on to put a squad of players together, and garner sponsorship support.

North Toowoomba Premier League Media &Sponsorship Manager, Peter Rookas said a number of players from other Toowoomba and regional clubs, have expressed interest to join The Bushrangers in the Premier League.
