Ice worth $300m found at Sydney depot

Up to $300 million worth of methylamphetamine has been found in a shipment that arrived in Sydney from southeast Asia.

Australian Border Force officers intercepted the air cargo consignment at a Sydney freight depot last month after a tip-off from NSW Police.

Police said it contained about 400kg of a white crystalline substance that tested positive for methylamphetamine.

Officers have seized the drugs and are investigating.
