Driving on the M.1 is back to normal this morning...allowing motorists to travel at 110 k.p.h between Logan and Gaven once again.
The stretch of the highway had experienced a speed limit reduction of 10 kays during the Commonwealth Games.
But not everything is returning to the way it was...trucks are still banned from using the right lanes.
Heavy vehicles were banned just prior to the games beginning, and the trial has been proven successful in reducing congestion along the busy stretch of the highway.
The State Government is now looking over the rest of the data from the past two weeks - and hasn't ruled out on enforcing the 100 k.p.h zone on a permanent basis.
