Man bitten by police dog after pursuit

Four people are being questioned after a police chase in Toowoomba left one man in hospital.
Two men and two women were travelling in a stolen car and failed to pay for fuel at a Highfields service station at around 3.10am, before police spotted them driving along the New England Highway.
Officers tried to stop the car with road spikes but called off the poursuit due to heavy oncoming traffic.
Police were forced to call in the dog squad to catch the group at the intersection of Muller and Kratzman Streets.
One man was bitten by a dog, and has been treated at the Toowoomba Base Hospital with a minor wound.
Investigations are continuing.
