2011 FLOODS CLASS ACTION: Dam authorities claim victims could have done more

A landmark court case to see if dam operators were to blame for widespread flooding is heating up as it approaches the end of the first week. 
Class action lawyers representing the families and businesses who lost almost everything during the devastating floods say the Queensland's water body- Seqwater - believe some victims could have done more to protect their assets. 
The class action representing six-thousand people, is seeking compensation from the state, which could run into millions of dollars.
