Bushfire rating is Severe, with a South East total fire ban in place.

A total fire ban in the South East corner is currently being enforced, as a dangerous cocktail of record-dry conditions and intense winds heighten the risk of bush-fires.
Q.F.E.S Rural Operations Superintendent, James Haig has confirmed the blanket ban will remain in place until at least midnight tonight.
The fire ban covers nine regional council areas including the Lockyer Valley, with residents prohibited from lighting any fires in the open.
