BREAKING NEWS: Jury retires in Jayde Kendall murder trial

Brenden Bennetts' future now rests in the hands of a Brisbane jury that has retired to deliberate whether or not he murdered Gatton schoolgirl Jayde Kendall.
Bennetts has pleaded guilty to manslaughter but is on trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court for murder, after denying he intended to cause the 16-year-old's death in 20-15.
The jury are expected to return their verdict as early as tomorrow.
