A Logan City ride share driver's been charged - accused of holding a female passenger in his car against her will in Brisbane.
Police allege the 45 year old man refused to let the 25 year old woman - who had been using the service to get to a bar in Fortitude Valley on Saturday night - out of his car.
He's then accused of driving for more than an hour to South Brisbane via the Clem 7 tunnel, with the driver pulling over on the M1 only after the woman opened a car door and threatened to jump out.
The man has been charged with deprivation of liberty.
It's the third alleged assault on a female passenger in Brisbane in a month.
Last month a 47-year-old Samoan man was charged with sexual assaulting a female passenger while using the ride-sharing service in Brisbane that week.
