
Shocking figures over the rates of D.V.O breaches in Toowoomba, has prompted a response from the State Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Minister.
Becoming a national talking point following the murder of Hannah Clarke and her three children at the hands of an abusive husband, Di Farmer believes the Palaszczuk Government has made progress on the issue.
It comes after The Chronicle revealed there's been more than 11,000 D.V.O breaches in Toowoomba in just under 20 years, according to Queensland Police data...while the number of calls to Toowoomba's Domestic Violence Action Centre spiked last week, following the news of Ms.Clarke's death.
