Police are continuing a search operation for a missing 89-year-old man at Springwood.
Brian Perkins (pictured above) was last seen on foot on Barbaralla Drive at approximately 11.30am on Saturday, February 11.
Police have serious concerns for Brian’s welfare as he has a medical condition and may be disoriented.
An initial extensive search of the area failed to locate any sign of Brian.
Today a further search operation utilising police and SES volunteers will commence from Barbaralla Drive, searching nearby streets, bushland and the Springwood Conservation Park.
Police also ask nearby residents to check their properties.
Brian is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall with grey balding hair and a slim build.
Anyone who has seen Brian, or has any information which could assist investigations, is urged to immediately contact police.
