Police are appealing for victims of recent property crime who’ve had hand and power tools stolen in the past four weeks to come forward.
A large amount of stolen property was recovered from an Inala address on March 16 when police executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into property offences across Darra, Richlands, Inala, Pallara, Geebung, Forest Lake, Doolandella, Ellen Grove and Ipswich.
A 32-year-old Inala man has been charged with multiple offences including three counts stealing, five counts enter premises with intent, 19 counts enter premises and commit indictable offence, six counts unlawful use of motor vehicle, two counts receive tainted property, one count dangerous operation of a vehicle, two counts driving with a disqualified licence and one count possessing dangerous drugs.
Police are asking anyone who has been a recent victim of tool theft to please contact police with a description of the stolen property, such as serial numbers or identifying details, so the items can be returned to their rightful owners.
