Investigations are underway following a fire at a retirement village in Bethania, Wednesday November 9.
Just after 9pm police and emergency services were called to the Snedden Street complex where one unit was well ablaze.
Firefighters quickly bought the fire under control however the unit was destroyed.

Five neighbouring units were evacuated for precaution.
Two women were transported to the PA Hospital in stable conditions for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Investigations continue.
