River949 were at Delfin Estate, Fernbrooke Ridge checking out the new display homes.

On Saturday 21st January we headed down to Puckles Bakery for some facepainting with the kids.

River 949 caught up with the Translink Go Card team and contestants at Riverlink on Wednesday, 25th January for the Hopscotch Championships.

We headed out to Salter's Jeep at Moorooka to see their big range of Jeep vehicles in stock. We met some great people and got to dream about what Jeep we'd like to each own ourselves!

The November 2011 storm that ravaged Rathdowney in SEQ's border region (just south of Beaudesert) csaused extensive damage and inetrepid local storm chasers were again on the hunt for footage and study of the nature of the storm and it's damage.

Friday the 11th of November 2011 at 11:11, we hit a once in a lifetime moment. It was literally  the 11:11 on the 11th of the 11th, 11.

We always love to give way a prize at River949... but when the prize is a $15,000 Harley Davidson bike, we're gonna turn it on a bit... and with over 1000 people showing up to Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson at Springwood to see Dave from Jimboomba win the big prize, it was a massive day!

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers once again set a whole new standard of displays of flowers, gardens and outdoor fun as the flower city lit up in smoky weather conditions and defied the grassfires of the surrounding regions to shine as bright as ever. River 949's D.T. was there hosting festivities and taking many many photos of the spectacular displays throughout Toowoomba.
