RUBY SLIPPERZ - Ruby has been entertaining since she was 12 years old, giving her almost 35 years experience in the  Entertainment/Media industry.  In 1989 she joined Darling Downs Television which wet her appetite for the world of media. Whether she was on screen presenting or behind the scenes, producing Ruby could work a crowd!  In 1994 after travelling to Europe and London she returned home to become a full time Entertainer which included working in children’s music groups, street theatre, theatre/restaurant productions and studio work. 1997 was the year Ruby went on to co host the Award Winning 4GR (864) breakfast show with John Krosch, a duo that became synonymous with lots of fun and laughter – the best way to start your morning on the Downs. One year later and Ruby won the Best Newcomer on Air at the Australian Radio Awards. If Ruby had to tell you what she believes is her best success she would say, her two children, she managed to start a family whilst continuing with her  media and performance career.  Always looking for a challenge 2004 saw Ruby decide she wanted to do more in the community, to not just be a voice on the radio but to be a voice for the people. Topping the poll she was elected to Toowoomba City Council and was given the portfolio of Tourism and Events as well as responsibilities for the corporate communications branch of Council. After a 4 year term, she was lead to take up a position in the family business (transport) – working with her Dad and brother.  Late 2009 Ruby was approached by River 949 to co host their new breakfast show... and the rest, as they say, is history! Ruby lives in Toowoomba with her husband, John (The Sherriff) and their teenage son, Harry and the Princess, Miss Maddy, not forgetting Sam the Cavoodle.

DAVE GREENSMITH - Grew up in Brisbane, attending Cavendish Road High School. Dave trained for radio at the Radio School Brisbane in 1987. He commenced radio career at 2GF Grafton in 1989, then travelled through country radio via 2PK Parkes and 4BU Bundaberg before pursuing the dream of being a professional musician, performing at venues from Melbourne to Darwin (and everything in between!). In 2004 took on a full time acting / singing / performance role at Universal Studios Tokyo before leaving in 2006 to take on the role as Commandant Lassard in the Police Academy Show at Warner Brothers Movie World on the Gold Coast. In 2007 he took on the Breakfast Show at Sea FM Fraser Coast winning 4 ACRAS including “Best on air team” and “Best station produced comedy segment”
